Straight from the kick off started at a fast pace with both teams eager to take control and within minutes Beechy had made a dream start following a goal mouth scramble Rachel forced the ball over the line to open the scoring .For the next ten minutes Beechy where on top playing some lovely football with Crystal controlling the midfield and Sophie and Rachel having numerous shots on target but Irlams keeper kept them out
Irlam where forced to produce some resolue defending United almost increased there lead when a great header from Rebbeca hit the cross bar
Eventually Beechy went 2-0 up through Sophie. But suddenly Irlam began to force rhere way into the game forcing several top class saves from Beechy keeper Briony
The second half got under way and it was just as good as the first half with both teams creating some excellent passing moves and playing some itelligent movement off the ball
Team captain Gemma produced an inspired display
and in defence Lauren Samantha and Shauna where rock solid as Irlam looked dangerous via the counter attack
Jade and Colby made apearances in the second half and is was the later who delivered some great crosses into the area which should have led to Beechy adding further goals
Irlam scored there goal comming via a goal mouth scramble and Beechy faced a nerous last few minutes before Beechy could celebrate their second win in the compertion
