Twenty teams were in action in the clubs forty fourth season. Nineteen Saturday teams and One Sunday team played in the Salford and Districts Junior League, Bolton Bury and District League, Manchester Youth Super League and East Manchester Junior League.
In the Junior Section eighteen teams were in action on the opening day of the 2024/2025 season. The Under 15's Tornadoes met Monton Sports away in their first Salford and Districts League Division 2 fixture and Beechy were rewarded with a 3-2 victory. Two goals by Josh Beddows and one from Jayden Hoye secured the three points (7/9/2024)
Four new players Ty Dobson, Mason Stockton, Dawood Fakeeh and Grayson Evans were involved when the Under 11's Tornadoes (9v9) met Winton Mavericks. Goals galore were on the menu as Beechy secured and emphatic victory with the pick of the goals coming from Sam Omoregie, Harry Myddleton, Dawood and Grayson. (7/9/2024)
Making a winning start in their Red Group away game were Beechy Under 10's Storm who beat Monton Mad Dogs by the odd goal in five. Goals for Storm came via Alfie Heighway, Kade Doyle plus an own goal while following an outstanding display keeper George Savage was named Man of the Match. (7/9/2024)
Beechy Under 11's Storm were involved in a one-sided affair when they met Boothstown Hornets in the Blue Group. Some very good football and finishing from the Beechy Boys during the game paved the way towards a 5-1 victory. Man of the Match Denholm Brooks (2) Max Schofield (2) and Kobe Glass fired home the goals. (14/9/2024)
Man of the Match James Hardman made some fantastic saves throughout the Under 11's Lightning game against Mountfield Rovers. In the Manchester Youth Super League Beechy will play all their games during the season at a Central Venue. (14/9/2024)
After their first two games in the Manchester Youth Super League Beechy Under 10's Thunder remained unbeaten. In Division 2 Thunder shared four goals with Rochdalians Panthers then Beechy secured a fully deserved victory over St Johns Chorlton. Sonny Phillips, Harley Cosgrove-Newby, Edan McHugh and Deo Wai Wai shared the goals in the two games. (7th & 14th/9/2025)
The Under 9's Thunder celebrated their first win of the season in the SDJFL with victory over Monton Sports Mavericks and in the Red Group Beechy made a slow start in the game and found themselves two goals down. Thunder fought back and thanks to goals from Chase Sixsmith, Antonio Embalo and Harrison Spencer held the lead at half time. Monton Sports were back level within seconds of the restart but following another spell of superb attacking play Beechy added two more goals via Harrison Spencer and Afie Heighway. Monton scored a late fourth goal to set-up a tense finish during which some quality defending guaranteed Thunder the win. Beechy's Star Player was Tiffany Kandemiri. (21/9/2024)
Goals by Zach MacKinnon (2) and Daniel Badewa secured a 3-2 victory for Beechy Under 12's Tornadoes in their away game with Skills United. In this SDJFL Division 1 fixture assists for the Tornadoes goals came from Luke Bennett, Lucio Riva and Tyler Ackernley. (21/9/2024)
Away at Atherton Colls in the Bolton Bury and District League were the Under 17's Hurricanes who conceded two early goals both from a well worked corner routine. Beechy were still two goals in arrears as the second half kicked-off but following a Oliver Sheridan corner kick Karo Ibodje made it 2-1. Karo and Paul Connelly combined to set-up Luke Kennedy and with his right foot fired the ball beyond the keeper for the Hurricanes equaliser. Beechy went 3-2 up when great play from Enoch Olague created the opening for Luke Kennedy to add the third goal. Enoch Olague who shared the Man of the Match award with Luke was twice on target with the fourth and fifth goal in this terrific second half display from the Hurricanes. At home to Ashton-on-Mersey the Under 12's Tornadoes (9v9) secured their fourth successive victory in the Salford and District League and retained top spot in Division 1. Beechy who made a slow start in the game shared a 1-1 scoreline at the break. In the second half the Tornadoes continued to play some great attacking football and were rewarded with a 6-1 victory. What pleased Manager Ryan Pugh most was that there were six different goalscorers and six different assists for the goals. (28/9/2024)
The Saturday Morning Open Age 1st Team met Salford Victoria Reserves in a top of the table clash and following two defensive errors Beechy trailed 2-0 at half time. But United fought back after the break and were rewarded when Joe McGee and Sam Woodlens scored the goals to earn Beechy a 2-2 draw. (28/9/2024)
In the East Manchester Junior League the Under 16's Thunder were still looking for their first Division 3 win of the season when they travelled to play Diversity Stars United. On a good playing surface the hosts took the lead and went 2-0 up following a corner. Slowly Beechy got back into the game and reduced the arrears after great work on the left wing by Devon Birkett set-up Rafael Djacy who drilled the ball home. Despite an all-round improvement Thunder conceded a third goal from another corner despite an initial brilliant save from keeper Oliver Dalton-Bunker. Devon Birkett was involved again when his cross found Rudolf Yeboah who from 35 yards sent the ball over the Diversity keeper for 3-2. Beechy equalised when Rafael Djacy collected a pass from Zach Bentham and went on a powerful run through midfield before hammering the ball beyond the keeper. Both teams continued to contribute to an entertaining game of grassroots football and Thunder had several chances to secure a victory before Diversity Stars snatched the three points via their fourth goal following a free kick. Zach Bentham was Beechy's Man of the Match. (28/9/2024)
Suffering a frustrating thirty minutes each win in their game with JFC Strike were the Under 11's Lightning (9v9) who were three goals down at half time. In the Manchester Youth Super League Beechy played with more confidence in the second half and reduced the arrears with a goal from Eshan Shanahan. But Lightning conceded a fourth goal before Austin Fillingham was on target followed by an own goal and with Kayson Gregg and Crewe Reeves in great form Beechy had victory in sight. Unfortunately Lightning just couldn't scored again to earn what would have been a valid draw. (5/10/2024)
In their away game with local rivals Swinton Lions the Under 7's Thunder created a great all-round performance. Both Aldo and Gideon scored wonder goals and Ronnie also got on the scoresheet while Zac provided some superb assists. In the second half of this twelve goal thriller George and Jesse defended superbly and Thunder's goalkeeper Raurie made some top class saves. Parents Player of the Match was Gideon and the Coaches Player of the Match was Ronnie. (5/10/2024)
There was a rare defeat for Beechy Under 10's Storm following their Red Group away game with Salford Storm Lightning. In a very tight hours football Beechy had any chances but were missing the vital goalscoring touch and one goal for Salford Storm was enough to win this game. Harry Chambers and Harry Heathcote-Clare shared the Man of the Match award. (5/10/2024)
Following an excellent run of results in the Salford and Districts League Beechy Under 12's Storm (9v9) were promoted from the Blue Group to the Red Group. (12/10/2024)
The in-form Under 12's Tornadoes (9v9) maintained their unbeaten run following a 7-0 away win over Urmston Town and remained a leaders of the Division One table. Man of the Match Max Blood scored four goals while Kian Murphy, Daniel Badewa and Luke Bennett were also on target. (12/10/2024)
In the Manchester Youth Super League the Under 11's Lightning (9v9) faced a tough thirty minutes each way in their encounter with Collyhurst Youth Blues. Following the game at the league's central venue Beechy who lost the match named Finley Thompson-Hale as their their Best Player. (12/10/2024)
