The Under 14's Hurricanes had a pre-season Friendly Match on 20/8/2022 against Barr Hill Hearts and following a fine all-round display secured a 6-0 victory. Henry Errington (hat-trick) Owen Hogben, Jamie Maher and Joshua Whitehead scored the goals.
On the same day Barr Hill also provided the opposition for the Under 16's Typhoon friendly match that ended with the teams sharing a 2-2 draw. Will Bentham and Reece James were on target and receiving the Man of the Match award was Ryan O'Sullivan.
Beechy Ladies opening fixture in the Greater Manchester Womens League was a home game with AFC Bolton Ladies. In Division 1 the first half ended 0-0 and early in the second period the visitors created several decent chances. Beechy took the lead in the 56th minute via Jess Lawson and six minutes later Aimee Greenwood made it 2-0. Beechy keeper Shauna Smith made a couple of excellent saves in the last ten minutes during which AFC Bolton netted their consolation goal. (4/9/2022)
In their first official game of the season the Under 8's Storm found themselves two goals down against Swinton Warriors. But the Beechy Boys bounced back and four goals in the last ten minutes guaranteed a deserved victory. In a great all-round team performance goalscorers for Storm were Man of the Match Seth Barber and Oscar Pugh. (17/9/2022)
After producing a fantastic all-round performance the Under 12's Storm (9v9) were rewarded with a 6-4 victory over Old Trafford Juniors. In this Division 3 home game Storm who were 4-3 up at half time scored goals via Roman Sandjai (3) Eiman Sandjai (2) and Alfie Parker. Player of the Match was Connor O'Sullivan. (17/9/2022)
At home against Swinton Sharks the Under 13's Tornadoes suffered a 4-3 defeat. On a huge pitch Beechy were hampered by injuries during this Division 2 match to three key players but the boys battled on and deserved at least a draw. Sonny Bennett who was playing only his second game for the Tornadoes was named Man of the Match. Joshua Beddows (2) and Oscar Mather got the goals. (24/9/2022)
Following their first Bolton Bury and District League Section D fixture of the season the Under 15's Hurricanes shared a 3-3 draw with Standish Panthers. In this away game a goal by Kane Wood put Beechy 1-0 up then Rian Haines doubled the Hurricanes lead before Standish Panthers reduced the arrears. A brilliant free kick taken by Kane Wood netted Beechy's third goal but in the second half the Hurricanes were guilty of a poor display and the hosts took advantage scoring two goals to force a draw. Some world class saves from keeper Callum Hanley earned him the Star Player award.(24/9/022)
Goals from Man of the Match Finlay Unsworth (2) Alfie Rostron (2) and Thomas Robinson earned the Under 14's Hurricanes a 5-2 away win over Wythenshawe Amateurs. The Beechy Boys managed to keep their composure during a heated period in the second half when several Hurricanes players were victim of some nasty challenges. (1/10/2022)
Making a slow start in their away game against AFC Urmston Meadowside were the Under 8's Thunder who went three goals down before Harley Cosgrove-Newby netted Beechy's consolation goal. A Man of the Match debut performance by Hugo Balogun was a real plus in a disappointng display by Thunder (1/10/2022)
In the Salford and Districts League's Challenge Cup the Under 10's Tornadoes kept their winning run intact with victory over Salford Storm Tornadoes. Throughout the tie Beechy's game plan worked perfectly with every player making a vital contribution. Kai Barker was the Tornadoes star striker on the day with five goals while Man of the Match Luke Bennett scored Beechy's other goal. (8/10/2022)
On the 7v7 Astroturf Pitch at Salford Sports Village Beechy Under 9's Tornadoes met Salford Storm Tornadoes. In this cup tie Beechy played well for most of the game but silly mistakes led to a defeat. On target with goals for Beechy were Anika Wojciak and Harry Myddleton who was also voted Man of the Match.
