Beechfield United Under 21's Storm Match Details 2nd February to 29th March 2025.
*Back in Bolton Bury and District League Section B action Beechy were at home to Prestwich Development. After conceding the opening goal Storm went close to quickly reducing the arrears via efforts by John Walsh and Caleb Hoyes. Just before half time Beechy did get back level when from a corner Harrison Davies scored with a bullet header but Prestwich replied to lead 2-1 at the break. Into the second half and Storm trailed 3-1 but thanks to a good finish Peter Lever made it 3-2 then Beechy got a bit of luck after Peter legally barged the Prestwich keeper and the ball ended up in the net for 3-3. Joe Northall was on target with Storm's match winning goal and Beechy who produced a gritty performance held on to celebrate their fully deserved 4-3 victory. (8/2/2025)
*At home to Tintwistle Athletic the Beechy Boys secured a second successive 6-1 win over their opponents. Quickly dominating this Section B game Storm were soon creating chances and both Caleb and Peter went close to a goal before Joe Northall opened the scoring via a header following a corner. An effort by Andrew Woodward just missed the target before Adam Peacock ran onto a good through ball and added a cool finish for 2-0. Tintwistle were forced to soak up more Beechy preessure and from another corner Caleb Hoyes put Storm 3-0 up before half time. Beechy kept a tight grip on the game in the second half and Andrew Woodward scored goals four and five then Cole Higson got the best goal of the game to make it 6-0. Tintwistle grabbed their consolation goal before the end. (15/2/2025)
*A 5-3 victory over Prestwich Development made it five wins from six games for Storm who got off to a quick start in this away fixture. Adam Peacock forced a great save from the Prestwich keeper before the hosts took the lead then Prestwich added a second goal when again Beechy failed to deal with an inswinging corner. Storm had chances through Cole Higson and Josh Everall to reduce the arrears but Beechy were still goals down at half time. Storm were thrown a lifeline when Peter Lever netted the first of Beechy's five goals. Adam Peacock made it 2-2 then Storm went 3-2 through Joe Northall and Adam peacock was on target again with goal Number four. Prestwich managed to pull a goal back with a header from a corner but Caleb Hoyes guaranteed Beechy the win following their great second half performance. (22/2/2025)
*Producing a top-class display on Saturday 1st March Storm were rewarded with a 3-1 home win over Little lever. In this energy charged game Beechy went 1-0 up courtesy of Joe Northall and an own goal gifted Storm a second goal. The pace of the game was fast and furious and Little Lever replied with some well controlled attacking football. Both Peter Lever and Harrison Davies produced some outstanding defending as Little Lever created numerous chances and the visitors got a goal back just minutes into the second half. An superbly executed free kick by Oliver Lawton added Beechy's third goal and during the latter stages of the match Rahman Ngeli made an impressive debut for Storm. (1/3/2025)
*With no league fixture Storm organised a friendly match with Prestwich Development and continued their unbeaten run with a narrow 2-1 victory. There were early chances for Andrew Woodward and Oliver Lawton before the latter put Beechy ahead via a free kick. A good finish into the bottom corner of the net from Caleb Hoyes gave Storm a 2-0 lead in the second half. Prestwich got a goal back through a neat finish and when tiredness affedted the Beechy Boys Prestwich dominated the last twenty minutes but Storm held on to make it seven wins out of eight games. *Away to Old Rivingtonians in a Section B fixture Storm started the game with only ten player. During a tight opening period Bradley Oliver went close to opening the scoring before the hosts wasted a chance when the ball was blazed over the crossbar. Beechy finally took the lead when Rahman Ngeli pounced on a through ball and slotted it into the net. Old Rivingtonians equalised early in the second half but Storm replied when Max O'Brien restored Beechy's lead before Joe Northall made it 3-1. The hosts scored their second goal after a Storm mistake and the game swung in Rivingtonians favour when they were level at 3-3. Producing some top-class defending Beechy soaked up the pressure in the final ten minutes and with nine players missing this was a great performance by Storm who earned a valid 3-3 draw. (15/3/2025)
*Following their Section B away game with Crompton Blues the Under 21's STORM made it eight games unbeaten. In windy conditions Beechy started quite well and Oliver Lawton went close to giving Storm an early lead. Crompton pressed hard but couldn't get shots on target as Beechy defended superbly. The breakthrough for Storm came when Bradley Oliver was fouled in the box after good work by Andrew Woodward and from the resulting spot-kick Bradley put Beechy 1-0 up a lead they still held at half time. In the second half Storm had the advantage of the better conditions but struggled to overcome their opponents who were very physical. Then with a few minutes left to play and during a good move on the edge of the area Bradley delivered a great cross and Joe Northall headed the ball home to guarantee Storm a 2-0 victory. (29/3/2025)
