The Hurricanes are back in home @Official BBDFL Action.
U17's HURRICANES are backDivision 1 action on the 4G at Salford Sports Village against Urmston Town. Lucca, Jamie and Rafa are all unavailable but Owen returns from injury for the first time this season and goes straight into the starting eleven. Starting Line-up: Oliver DB, Mihail, Dillian (C) Harrison, Zach, Josh, Taylor, Owen, Henry, Alfie, Aide. Subs: Matty, Sultan.
After a relatively even start, the away side take the lead. A cross into the area takes an odd bounce and envades a Beechy defender and falls ferfectly for the visitors striker to drill home. Decent finish but after a huge slice of good fortune. The Hurricanes push forward in search of a goal and the pressure forces an error from an Urmston defender. His miscue falls to Aiden Bailey who takes a great touch and arrows the ball into the bottom corner of the net for 1-1.
Lifted by their equaliser Beechy kept attacking and a pass from Alfie Rostron found Aiden who does brilliantly to drill his shot across the visitors keeper, but desperately unlucky to see the ball hit the post. The away side continue to look dangerous going forward and a hacked clearance falls to an Urmston midfielder who hammers a shot goalwards. The ball goes flying forward towards the top corner of the net until Hurricanes keeper Oliver leaps and gets a fingertip to it and pushes it just past the post. HT 1-1.
Early in the second half Urmston Town launch an attack down the right flank, the referee ignores cries for offside and from a deep cross a visitors forward scores with a header from close range to put Urmston 2-1 up. A long ball over the top sees a player from each team tussling for the ball as they both race into the area. A last-ditch challenge from an Hurricanes defender caught the Urmston striker who tumbled to the floor winning the visitors a penalty.
From the spot-kick the ball was hit hard and low into the bottom corner of the net for Urmston Town's third goal. FULL TIME. Beechfield Hurricanes 1 v Urmston Town 3. A scrappy and frustrating second half for Beechy who never really got into the game. The scoreline is probably a true reflection of the game with Hurricanes Man of the Match keeper Oliver Dalton-Bunker helping to ensure it wasn't a heavier defeat.

Man of the Match: Oliver Dalton-Bunker. ๐
