On the attack straight from the kick-off Storm created early chances and one effort by Evan Hodson-Griffiths was saved by the visitors keeper. During a moment of controversy Beechy were awarded a penalty and AWFC had a player shown a red card. Max O'Brien took the spot-kick and put Storm 1-0 up and more chances were on offer before Beechy got another penalty but Sonny O'Brien's missed with his attempt from the spot. Storm still led by their only goal at half time but the Beechy Boys quickly increased their lead when Cole Higson added the second goal from a cross into the box. Louis Khalkel got in on the act with a close range finish for 3-0 and the fourth goal arrived after Evan set-up Louis who fired the ball home as AWFC were forced to soak up constant Beechy pressure. With another good finish Evan made it 5-0 and Alan Kay waiting unmarked at the far post completed the scoring.
