A 5-3 Home win over Boundary Park earned Beechy Saturday Morning Storm their first offical Division 2 three points since 25/10/2025.

**It was the visitors who took the lead and as Storm searched to find an equaliser they struggled despite a strong wind in their favour. Oliver Lawton saw his effort confidently dealt with by the visitors keeper and Joe Melling was just off target with a powerful strike. Boundary Park went 2-0 up early in the second half from a corner but Man of the Match Max O'Brien reduced the arrears with a good finish. A third goal put Boundary Park in a strong position though Beechy quickly found their attacking rhythm again and Will Hibbs fired home Storm's second goal. Stand-in Keeper Harrison Davies pulled off a great save before Max O'Brien via another quality finsh made 3-3 and Max edged Beechy 4-3 up when he completed a superb hat-trick. There was a moment of controversy when Boundary Park claimed the ball had gone over the line but despite the visitors protests the referee didn't reverse his initial decision. In the closing minutes Storm sealed their victory and the scoring when at the end of a swift counter-attack Alan Kay supplied the finish when he chipped the ball over the keeper. This was a great comeback win for Beechy with Max stealing the show.
