On a terrible pitch it was Withington who made a good start as they pressured Storm into making mistakes. Harry Officer went close to a goal with a free kick before the hosts opened the scoring via quick counter-attack. Beechy struggled to get into the game due to some great defending by the hosts and Withington scored again to lead 2-0 at half time. In the second half Withington were awarded a debatable penalty to kill the game and as Storm pushed more players forward the hosts added a fourth goal. Beechy were eventually rewarded when Caleb Hoyes netted their consolation goal. Man of the Match vote by the Referee was Cole Higson. Storm's Team Manager Graham Everall admitted that Beechy were beaten by the better side.
