Away to top of Division 2 team Davyhulme a solid all-round display from Beechy Saturday Morning Storm went unrewarded.

Twice Beechy had chances to open the scoring but an effort from Oliver Lawton then a header by Josh Everall just missed the target. Josh had another goalscoring opportunity before Davyhulme took the lead following a defensive mistake. Both Luca Komm and Jack Downie had shots in an attempt to get Storm an equaliser before half time. In the second half after being awarded a free kick Davyhulme went 2-0 up but Beechy got back in the game with a goal by Harry Officer. Storm's players worked hard to get back level but Beechy were caught by a breakaway attack and this led to Davyhulme taking a 3-1 lead. Refusing to accept defeat Storm were rewarded with their second goal courtesy of Sam Everall who scored with a good finish as he fired the ball into the bottom corner of the net. Beechy piled players forward as they tried to draw the game but Davyhulme added two more goals to run out 5-2 winners though the final score flattered Storm's opponents. The referees Man of the Match was Oliver Lawton.
