*Storm met Barr Hill who made a decent start in the contest and when Beechy produced a positive reply they created a few swift attacks and took the lead. Good work from Joe Northall down the left wing resulted in a Barr Hill defender putting the ball into his own net. Following more slick attacking play Storm went 2-0 up when during a move on the right wing a cross by Max O'Brien found brother Sonny at the back post and he added a close range finish. As they continued to look the better team Beechy added goal number three thanks to Alan Kay who produced a great piece of skill on the edge of the area before firing the ball low into the corner of the net. Barr Hill got a slightly lucky goal that reduced Storm's lead to 3-1 at half time. As the second half developed Beechy had to soak up some heavy pressure and after being awarded a dodgy penalty the visitors scored their second goal. A couple of efforts by Barr hill hit both post and crossbar as Storm survived an attacking surge from their opponents. But Beechy managed to hold Barr Hill at bay until the final whistle and secure the three points with a 3-2 victory. Storm's Man of the Match voted by the referee was Sam Everall.
