For the first time in 2 seasons, Tornadoes met Lightning in a League Beechfield Derby.
Unfortunately for us Tornadoes, it was to be a very disappointing performance and ultimately result.
The boys never, apart from a period in the second half, passed the ball or worked as a team. Too often the lads got flustered and gave the ball away or, on some occasions, stopped trying.
However, as already stated, there was a spell in the game when the boys did get it together and they competed.
That at least gives us something to work on.
I also hope that the boys can learn from our opponents, who were calm, composed and let the ball do the work.
