On the 21st April 1991 the players and officials of Beechfield United Under 13's were celebrating after winning the Manchester County Football Association Sunday Youth Cup.

At the MCFA Sports and Leisure Complex, Brantingham Road, Chorlton Beechy lifted the trophy following a 3-1 victory over FC Red Star. United's squad named on the match programme was: Carl Openshaw, Steven Done, Chris Wallis, Lee Macdonald, Neil Rothwell, Ian Gibson, Michael Twiss, John Paul-Elliott, Craig McNicholl, Gary Roberts, Paul Vernon, Peter Mellor, Scott Sandford, Bobby Hodgson, Chris Bennett. Team Manager: George Done. The 1990-1991 season was certainly a highly successful one for the Under 13's who were also Salford Junior League Champions, Supplementary Cup Winners, Kearsley Shield Winners and Knock Out Cup Runners-Up.
