This Development Group Blue contest turned out to be a real thriller with the teams sharing twelve goals. On target for Beechy were Man of the Match Alex Vanden, Damion Broughton, Rome Hodson and Luke Carr.

On a very tight pitch Beechy’s passing was a bit hit and miss but the Tornadoes took the lead through Charlie Mulvenna following a great piece of skill. Defenders Jack Fitton and Harley Kirk foiled numerous Ladybridge attacks while upfront the forward duo of Kayden McClean and Harley Davidson gave the Ladybridge defence a tough time. Harley Davidson netted three second half goals and Oliver Lomas also impressed with a gutsy display but the Man of the Match award went to Kayden McClean. Thanks to all the parents who braved the arctic conditions to cheer on the team.
