In the Timperley and District Junior League Beechfield United Under 16's Predators played their first match of 2017 when they entertained Sale United Jets at Stott Lane. In this Division 1 League Cup tie the Predators who held a 2-0 half time lead secured a place in the quarter-finals thanks to a 4-2 victory. Playing some great attacking football Beechy created chances galore and should have won by a bigger margin. Henry Bonynge and Ethan Haynes shared the Man of the Match Award and on target with the goals were Joseph Lydiate (2) Brandon Kent and Nauris Kaluga.

The Under 16's Tornadoes maintained their one point lead at the top of the Section C table courtesy of an emphatic 8-0 away win over Breightmet Wanderers. This Bolton Bury and District League fixture was played on an Astroturf Pitch and following the victory Beechy stretched their current unbeaten run to five games. Goalscorers were Joseph Furlong, Kurtis Taylor, Mason White, Charlie James and Tom Nelson.

Achieving a quick winning double over opponents Turton Tigers were Beechy Under 14's Tornadoes. This action packed Bolton Bury and District League Section B game produced thirteen goals and the Tornadoes collected the three points via an 8-5 victory. In the opening minutes United struggled to get a foothold in the contest but once the fog that surrounded the pitch lifted so did the Tornadoes overall performance. A superb thirty five yard pass from Joe Horrocks was controlled by Jeanny Le Blanc who hammered the ball home for 1-0 but a defensive error gifted Turton Tigers an equaliser. Beechy regained the lead when Jeanny Le Blanc scored an almost identical goal this time assisted by Leighton White and in control United quickly added a third goal. Good work close to the touchline by Jacob Wilson set-up the chance for Joe Horrocks to accurately fire the ball into the top corner of the net. Turton Tigers reduced the arrears but from a well executed free kick Joe Horrocks guaranteed Beechy regained a two goal lead just before the break. Straight from the restart the Tornadoes dominated possession and after powering his way down the right flank Jeanny Le Blanc played the ball to Joe Horrocks who easily beat the keeper as he completed his hat trick with the fifth goal. Turton Tigers continued to create chances and were rewarded when an unmarked forward made it 5-3 but after racing onto a long ball over the Turton defence Jeanny Le Blanc got his hat trick and goal number six. Briefly Turton gave Beechy cause for concern with their fourth goal before Man of the Match Jeanny Le Blanc took his personal tally to four with Beechy's seventh goal. A penalty converted lifted the visitors spirits but their celebrations were short lived when Derryn Harrison netted United's eighth goal and ended the scoring in this thoroughly entertaining contest.

Also in action in the Bolton Bury and District League were the Under 13's Storm who resumed their Section A fixtures with an away game against top of the table outfit Pennington Youth. Throughout the match Beechy were the better team but they couldn't convert their advantage into goals and lost the game 2-0. Kai Morris was named Man of the Match.

Beechy Under 10's Hurricanes entertained the Under 10's Storm in a Friendly Match and tasted victory thanks to a last minute winning goal scored by Man of the Match Dominic Roaden. Also on target were James Taylor and Tom Worthington while the Storm replied with goals from Freddie and Fletcher Jackson. Voted Best Player for the Storm was Reece James.

Producing a good all-round performance against Ladybridge Juniors were the Under 8's Tornadoes who were worthy winners of their Friendly Match. Goalkeeper George Rowbotham was the teams Star Player while goals for the Tornadoes were scored by Ethan Harris, Anthony Hughes and Charlie Backhouse.

The Under 8's Storm have been involved in three Friendly Games during the Xmas and New Year period. In the away game at Stretford Victoria Panthers an in-form Beechy outfit scored goals courtesy of Man of the Match Kylan Twigg, Henry Jones, Harry Jones and Fletcher Jackson that guarantted a deserved victory. Man of the Match Lucas Harris, Kylan, Henry, Harry and Fletcher fired in the goals when Storm met Beechy Under 8's Tornadoes who had Harvey Riva on target with two goals. Recent new signing Charlie Backhouse was the Tornadoes Star Player. North Walkden Dragons were United's next opponents and Beechy were in superb form. Henry Jones led the list of goalscorers that also included Ellis Adamson, Lucas Harris and Man of the Match Fletcher Jackson.
