- Ex Beechy Player Leads Youth Team To Cup Glory
Ex Beechfield United Junior player Alex Doyle who picked up numerous individual trophies during his time with the club between 2007 and 2013 recently achieved another milestone in his career. Alex was captain of the Manchester FA Youth Team who won the FA County Youth Cup for the first time in seventy five years. In the final played at Spotland the home ground of Rochdale FC Manchester FA beat holders Norfolk FA 3-0 so Alex can now add an extra winners piece of silverware to his trophy cabinet.
