Beechfield United Under 12's Thunder (9v9) played their Salford and District League Division 2 home game on an artificial surface at Eccles College. Beechy's opponents were Deans Tigers who's finishing was far superior but despite a battling display in which they created numerous scoring opportunities Thunder suffered a heavy defeat. Harvey Walker fired in United's consolation goal and named Man of the Match was Jake Glass.
The Under 12's Storm (9v9) versus Urmston Town Devils Division 1 game took place in terrible conditions. Throughout the match the Beechy lads had a greater share of the ball and produced moments of top-class soccer but Storm lost the match 5-4. Finley Share received the Best Player Award and goals for Beechy came via Samuel Oludoyi (2) Adam Rothwell and Luke Carr.
In their match with Barr Hill Aces the Under 10's Storm raced into a two goal lead thanks to Caden Gibson and Harry Backhouse but United's opponents fought back to level the score. As they continued to control the game during the second half the Storm were rewarded with a winning goal courtesy of Man of the Match Freddie Jackson.
On an all weather pitch Beechy Under 10's Lightning were in action away against Ladybridge Pumas. This Development Group Green fixture was a closely fought affair and it was Ladybridge who won the game that produced five goals. Star Player for Lightning was Liam Peers and on target with both goals was Sam Henderson.
