Beechfield United U/7's Thunder v Salford Storm Monsoon

In another thrilling game against Salford Storm Beechy Thunder were unable to repeat last week's win against the same opposition, but in an entertaining game, that was end to end again Thunder put in a great performance and every player gave 100% effort. Throughout the match Goalkeeper Raurie Brassington, who is growing in confidence every match pulled off some superb saves and his kicking to release to the team is getting better every week. Freddie Tipton who played in defence this week controlled and coped remarkably well showing what a valuable player he is to the squad and George Lawson who played his first game in five weeks fitted straight back in with some good defence and his passing game getting stronger. midfield maestro Jesse Fletcher showed yet again some great touches and kept causing problems in the oppositions half. Roman Ashworth ran with the ball all game and this didn't go unnoticed by everybody, again working tirelessly all game for his teammates.

Gideon James again proved how much he does for the team with strong runs and strong defending plus with his passing getting more accurate each game he plays in. Scoring a magnificent goal silenced the away team, Ronnie Green yet again scoring two great goals for Thunder and his passing and shooting accuracy are growing more and more each week and he always contributes to the attack in every game he plays in. Aldo Gannon was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet in this game but he provided some great touches and passes to his teammates all the game and he worked up and down the pitch throughout the natch. Win, lose or draw the Beechy Boys always have a smile on their face and are showing how good thay can be for Beechfield United in the future. Well done to trophy winners Raurie, Gideon and Aldo.
