The 2007/2008 season proved to be highly successful for Beechfield United 1st Team who were Lancashire and Cheshire League Premier Division Champions, winners of the Manchester FA Charter Standard Adult Cup and beaten finalists in the Saturday Challenge Trophy.

Beechy won the Charter Standard Adult Cup when they beat Manchester Publicity League outfit Arches FC 3-1 in a one-sided final played on 26th February 2008 at Salford Sports Village. Tony Weall netted a hat-trick and Danny Rowcroft was named Man of the Match. But United failed in their attempt to make it three winning trophies after they were beaten 3-1 by Blackley FC in the final of the Challenge Trophy.
