*The Under 15's HURRICANES faced a long trip for their Supplementary Cup tie with Kingsway Athletic but came home with a 4-2 victory. Conditions were less than ideal for the game due to a combination of the weather and an uneven playing surface. Rafael Djacy was on target when he gave Beechy the lead then the Hurricanes went 2-0 up via JJLowery who added the finish following a corner taken by Joshua Whitehead. Kingsway Athletic reduced the arrears after a free kick from the halfway line was sent deep into Beechy's area and the ball was volleyed into the net at the second attempt. The second half was another action packed forty minutes and the Hurricanes added their third goal when Rafael Djacy forced a save from the hosts keeper and JJLowery headed home the rebound at the far post. Almost from the restart Kingsway got their second goal with the help of the pitch when a cross/shot took a horrible bounce on the poor surface and the ball ended up in the corner of the net. But Beechy bounced back and led 4-2 from a free kick awarded for a foul on Henry Errington and taking the kick Joshua Whitehead sent the ball forward and Man of the Match JJLowery scored from close range to complete his hat-trick and the scoring.
*In the East Manchester Junior League the Under 15's THUNDER were in a Division 3 top versus bottom encounter. At home Beechy met current league leaders Wythenshawe Wanderers and were extremely unlucky to suffer a 1-0 defeat with the only goal that gave the visitors their victory arriving in the first half. Thunder produced a brave and battling second half performance and could easily have forced at least a draw but they were denied by the Wythenshawe keeper who made several good saves. Rafael Alarcon was Thunder's Man of the Match.
