*Second Blue Group away fixture for the THUNDER boys who were looking to build on last weekend's performance with another win. On a tight 3G Pitch the boys struggled with the pace of the ball but they gradually began to find their passing feet. Taking advantage of the short pitch it wasn't long before Elliot rifled in Thunder's first goal with a lovely strike from the wing. Thunder continued to press with Finley making some menacing runs down the flank but it was Elliot again who found the net with another fine strike that soared past the keeper. CUKI came back into the game and keeper Bobby was needed to gather up some loose balls in the box. Che was brought into the game and instantly made an impact with a long range strike that managed to find it's way into the bottom corner of the net. CUKI started to up the tempo and they managed to to pull a goal back going into half time.

Into the second half and CUKI managed to hit a second goal forcing Thunder to up the tempo and it was Che who managed to get his second goal with a neat finish from inside the box. Thunder continued with some good passages of play from Angel and Declan who was playing his first game for Thunder. Ralph and Jose came back into the game and the captain managed to squeeze in a precise finish after some great work by Elliot down the right wing. CUKI again were forced to up the tempo and they did manage to pull back two quick fire goals which added some pressure onto Thunder to keep their lead. But Thunder managed to hit back with their sixth goal from a corner which Ralph finished nicely. CUKI pulled another goal back shortly after which made it a nervy finish for the Thunder Boys but they were able to see the game out in the end with a well deserved win. Some good performances all-round with the Boys unlucky not to have added a few more goals with the amount of chances created. Man of the Match was Elliot who was a constant threat for CUKI,two lovely well taken goals and two assists.
