In the Bolton Bury and District League Beechfield United U/21's produced a sensational second half display to earn a 5-4 victory over top of the table team Atherton Town Thunder.

*Beechy had home advantage but following a below-par performance in the first forty five minutes a comeback didn't seem possible when some poor defending gifted Atherton Town at least three goals and a 4-1 lead at the break. An encouraging half time team talk seemed to have worked wonders because following the break Beechy suddenly got their act together and after raising their game their excellent team spirit and desire to win was the high point of the match. The Atherton defence was tested to the limit when Beechy piled on the pressure and after carving out a glut of chances the reward was four top-quality second half goals. On target for Beechy in the game were Max O'Brien (2) Samuel Azuoma (2) and Jacob Bertram.
