- Beechy U6's Storm Match Report
Salford City - Beechfield Storm U6s (28/4/2024)
Nice win for the Beechy boys today. Was an evenly matched game. With a few players missing from the squad we was down to the bones but that didn’t knock the Storm.
Going two goals up with goals from our very own 🚀 (Theo) cutting in from the wing.
Followed by Renaldo (Reni) slotting the ball in the bottom left corner.
There was a moment when Salford broke the line and cut back in from the left edge. The young Salford player pinged a beauty towards the Beechy goal but Alfie dived right across his goal to get a strong hand to knock the ball wide. Keeping Salford at bay!
Wasn't long until Archie had there wing back all over with his superb skill and dribbling making a nuisance for the Salford defence.
After the break a bit of loose defending Salford managed to weave through the back line and score in the bottom right.
Followed by a hand ball from Harry in the box from a looping cross. Giving Salford a penalty. Making the game locked at two goals each.
Then the 🚀 (Theo) picked up the ball and ran straight down the right hand wing. With a chop back inside to sink the ball in the bottom right.
After some great challenges from Louie picked up the ball in on the edge and pinged a long range shot off the cross bar. The crowd was going wild.
Noah one of our newer players. Really held his own as this was a step up of class from previous games. Getting in the gaps cutting off Salford attacking passes.
Then along came Harry, just in side of the box. The ball bounced and sat right up for him to absolutely pinged the ball into the net leaving the keeper no chance of saving it.
The game ended with a win for the Storm Under 6s.
The team worked hard for each up and never game up. And to see how far these lads have come since myself @colin @447877505916 is. Massive achievement. The Salford boys have a really good squad and you can see there of a high ability. But the Beechy Boys in Blue stepped up and gave them a run for there money.
