Beechfield United Under 17's completed their Timperley and District League fixtures for 2016/2017 with an away game with Timperley Villa Jaguars. Beechy played throughout this Youth Bundesliga Division match with only nine players and deserved a much better outcome for their hard work and commitment. The first half was evenly balanced but Timperley Villa took their chances and held a 2-0 lead at the break. Producing a superb start to the second half United reduced the arrears thanks to a goal from Tom Haslem. As the half developed tiredness crept into Beechy's play and Timperley Villa took advantage and with the extra players built up a fairly comfortable lead. Tom Haslem hammered home a second goal for United but Beechy eventually suffered a heavy defeat.

Extending their unbeaten run in the Salford and Districts League to seven games were the Under 15's Storm who were in top form against AFC Monton Jets. The Beechy boys played great attacking soccer and scored several top-quality goals in their 8-2 victory. Goalscorers for the Storm were Jason Smith (Hat-Trick) Man of the Match Joe Cox (2) Tyler Davies (2) and Callum Lomax.

At Stott Lane Playing Fields the Under 13's Tornadoes had a tough Division 1 home game with Barr Hill Aces. It was the visitors who won the contest 7-2 but Beechy were never overawed and responded with some decent football and two goals both scored by Man of the Match Mathew Bennett.

The Under 12's Tornadoes (9v9) ended their Division 3 season at Beech Farm playing Deans Panthers. Sam Jones from the penalty spot netted a consolation goal for the Tornadoes but there was no Man of the Match Award handed out by Team Manager Oscar Courtney.

Man of the Match Adam Rothwell (2) and Damion Broughton got the goals for the Under 12's Storm (9v9) in their Division 1 top of the table clash against Deans Sports. Following their 3-2 victory the three points guaranteed the Storm remained as league leaders. Moston Tigers are also involved in a three team title race.

Both Under 11's teams were in action in their relevant Development Group Divisions. The Under 11's Tornadoes (9v9) met neighbours Moorside Rangers Yellow in the Blue Division and shared a four goal score line. Bradley Oliver was on target twice for Beechy who named Theo Valentine as their Best Player.

In the Red Division the Under 11's Storm (9v9) played Deans Sports. Holding a one goal lead at half time Beechy faced more pressure after the break but despite scoring another goal the Storm conceded three and it was Deans Sports who eventually won the game. Kaiden McClean Delaney were goalscorers for Beechy and voted the teams Star Player was Elliott McLurg-Taylor.

Playing their final fixture of the season were Beechy Under 10's Hurricanes who met Oxford Grove for the second time in seven days. In the Bolton Bury and District League the Hurricanes shared ten goals following this Dragons Division game. James Taylor, Ole Kerwin, Georgi Georgiev, Reilly Happy and Harley Mullen got the goals.

An end to end game between the Under 10's Typhoon and De La Salle Red was won by a lovely finish into the top corner of the net by Jamie Withington his second goal in this Development Group Yellow encounter. Harry Davies was also on target for the Typhoon who won the contest. Man of the Match was Freddie Latham.

Despite going a goal down in their Development Group Red Division home game with Stretford Victoria the Under 10's came back strongly. Josh McLoughlin equalised before half time and in the second half the Storm stepped up the pressure and added two more goals via Sonny O'Brien. Goalkeeper George Heywood made a stunning save with his feet at the end.

William Anderton and Charlie Harris fired in the consolation goals for the Under 10's Lightning who travelled to play Winton Wanderers Vipers in the Development Group Green Division. Team Manager Nathan Hawthorne didn't choose a Man of the Match.

There was a second successive home defeat for the Under 9's Storm. In the Development Group Yellow Division Beechy's opponents were Parkwyddn Phoenix who's three goals were enough to win the match. The Storm's consolation goal came courtesy of Saul Tagoe and sharing the Man of the Match Award were Jack Hanbury and Tommy Harnell.

Beechy Under 9's Tornadoes were away to AFC Monton Yellow and made a few changes for this Development Group Red Division fixture. Striker Finley Fairhurst took on the role of goalkeeper and Freddie Wardle wore the number ten shirt. In a tightly contested first half Freddie Wardle scored our consolation goal. Another great performance by Ellis O'Brien-Walsh earned him the Man of the Match Award.

There was another high scoring display by the Under 8's Tornadoes in the Development Group Yellow Division. Man of the Match Ethan Harris, Harvey Riva and Matty Cox got the goals for Beechy who secured an emphatic win over AFC Monton Tigers.

On target with a consolation goal for the Under 7's Tornadoes in their away game with Prestwich FC Juniors was Flinn Rogers. Following this Development Group Yellow encounter Dylan Courtney was named the Tornadoes Star Player.

Goals galore was the main highlight of the Under 7's Storm versus South Manchester game. In this one sided Development Group Green Division match Beechy ran out easy winners thanks to goals from Noah Thorndyke, Shay Winstanley, Logan Holland and Frankie Carter.
