Beechfield United U/13's TORNADOES were in action in two Division 2 midweek away games in the Salford and Districts League on Tuesday 9th May and Wednesday 17th May 2023.

*In the game against Barr Hill Aces at Bolton Road Playing Fields the Tornadoes found themselves in arrears after conceding two early goals. Thankfully Beechy got a better foothold in the game in the second half and got a goal back when Oscar Mather scored from the penalty spot. Keeping the pressure on their opponents Beechy worked hard to get back level and an equaliser proved elusive until Jayden Hoye made it 2-2 via a sweet half volley following a corner. Unfortunately the Tornadoes couldn't find a match winning goal and had to settle for a share of the spoils.

For their penutimate fixture of the season the U/13's TORNADOES were away again when they made the short journey to play Swinton Sharks. Despite being under pressure for most of the first half the Beechy Boys defended superbly and against the run of play led 1-0 at the break with a breakaway goal scored by Josh Beddows. In the second half the Tornadoes grew stronger and stronger and were awarded with their second goal following a speculative long range effort from Josh Beddows. With only minutes remaining Jayden Hoye netted Beechy's third goal from close range to guarantee the victory when a shot by Radwan Fakeeh was defelected after a corner.
