Beechfield United Aces played three Division 2 fixtures in seven days in the Manchester Saturday Morning League beginning with a 3-3 draw followed by a 3-1 defeat then a 2-0 win.

Beechy had home advantage in all three games which began with a 3-3 draw against local rivals Barr Hill. The teams who shared the same score line earlier in the season produced a similar hard fought contest at Littleton Road. The Aces held a 2-0 lead but a generous decision by the match official saw Barr Hill reduce the arrears from the penalty spot. In the second half Beechy conceded another penalty then Barr Hill took a 3-2 lead before Beechy equalised to earn a share of the spoils again. Goalscorers for the Aces were Harry Halsey, Nathan Haslam and Jobie Knight. (8/5/2021)

On Wednesday evening Beechy faced a tough challenge when they met current league leaders Cheadle FC and despite an hardworking ninety minutes The Aces suffered a 3-1 defeat. Kyle Galbraith scored Beechy's consolation goal. (12/5/2021)

The Aces bounced back against Moston United and were rewarded with a 2-0 victory but after creating lots of chances should have won by a greater margin. Nathan Haslam and Harry Halsey were on target and always the better team Beechy saw efforts hit the post plus they were denied a clear-cut penalty. (15/5/2021)
