At the 2016 Manchester County Football Association Grassroots Awards held at the Marriot Park Hotel Beechfield United legends Richard Jackson and Stuart Wharton received a long service award for their commitment to grassroots football.

Both Richard who has been a Player and Team Manager for Beechy for twenty seven years and Stuart a Player and Assistant Manager for twenty years with the club fully deserve the awards for their loyalty and dedication shown towards Beechfield United Football Club.
