First Half:
Storm had several chances in the first half of this nail-biting game but struggled to find the back of the net, with lots of shots just missing their mark.
It was Harry’s strong performance in goal that kept Beechfield in contention, making five crucial saves in the first half alone to fend off Urmston Athletics pressure. However, Urmston eventually broke through to score, and leading at halftime.
Second Half:
The game shifted in the second half as Urmston quickly scored again, to go two goals ahead. This sparked Beechfield into action, with each and every player battling hard to turn the game around.
Louie led the charge with two goals, while Ollie and Reni each added one to complete the comeback, securing a victory for Beechfield.
Jaxx, Louie, and Harry earned “Player of the Match” honours for their standout performances, showcasing the team’s grit and determination in a thrilling turnaround.
