Former Beechfield United Junior Isak Bergmann Johannesson made his International debut for Iceland against England in the UEFA Nations League on Wednesday 18th November 2020.

Isak who currently plays as a midfielder for FC Norrkoping a club who are registered in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan was an 87th minute substitute against England who won the match 4-0.

During him time at Beechy Isak played for the U/8's 2009/2010 and U/9's Storm 2010/2011 in the Stax City of Salford Soccer League and was involved in two cup finals both played at Ayrshire Road.

On 24/4/2010 the U/8's met Urmston Town Eagles in the Fun Competition final and Isak netted one of the Beechy goals. Twelve months later Isak was back at Ayrshire Road and was on target again when Beechy defeated Moorside Red to win the Challenge Cup.

Isak's former Beechy Manager Martin Belcher said Isak was a gifted and intelligent player and it's no real surprise he has reached such a high level in his footballing career.
