On the back of a fantastic performance by Storm they followed up with another victory.
A little scrappy throughout against a team that in pre season we had a really tight game against though the deadlock was broken in the first couple of minutes with a staple quick throw in with Henry sprinting through to tap it over the incoming goalkeeper.
The second goal came shortly after with break from Ralph who jinked through the Wythenshawe defence to slot the ball past to the right of the goalkeeper.
Throughout Beechy struggled to match the type of play we saw last week though Alfie, Ralph, George and James played excellently defensively
As the second half started Beechy really started to push and press while not playing fluidly - however after a foul on the left Charlie stepped up to hit a direct shot on goal which skimmed off the wet floor into the back of the net to make it 3-0.
Throughout there was a number of close chances with Alfie twice almost scoring needing great saves from the keeper, James and Henry also being unfortunate to be denied.
Beechy continued to press which told with two goals and a brace for Isaiah, both from quick throw ins which Izzy being on the end of finished well.
Overall the defence and positioning by the team was excellent to the point where Wythenshawe didn’t register a shot on goal - containing a team where in pre season, was very tight between us.
MOTM:
Henry Charles was hugely influential from start to finish with fantastic running, starting most moves with great dribbling/passing - has a goal and a couple of assists but also helped to defend consistently
