After several days of heavy rain a large percentage of scheduled Junior Section games were postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

*Beechy Under 8's THUNDER continued their recent unbeaten run thanks to a resounding home win over Ordsall Park Raptors but despite making a quick start to the game Thunder couldn't capitalise on several decent chances. Eventually Beechy made the breakthrough when the impressive Kade Doyle opened the scoring when he netted a rebound after his initial had been blocked. A couple of half time team changes proved effective for Thunder when Logan Moore produced his best ever Beechy performance plus his first goal for the team. Logan then assisted when Kade Doyle put Thunder three goals ahead before Ordsall Park reduced the arrears following a well taken free kick. Producing a positive response Beechy added goal number four after Brayden Taylor went on a mazy run before blasting the ball past the keeper to round off Thunder's comprehensive victory.

*Away to Old Trafford Juniors the Under 8's STORM faced tough opposition in their latest Salford and District League fixture. The match began as a closely fought contest when Storm came up against an in-form Trafford keeper who made some brilliant saves. After making several substitutions the game swung in favour of the hosts who scored a few goals in quick succession. Beechy had a mountain to climb but displaying great team spirit Storm were awarded a penalty and though the keeper saved Alfie Heighway's spot-kick Alfie quickly regained possession and his cross set-up Seth Barber for a simple tap-in. Man of the Match Seth Barber completed his hat-trick before Oscar-Bobby Berry scored a well earned goal but it was too late for a Beechy comeback. Throughout the game there were some very good individual battles in an excellent Storm performance.

*Thanks to a brilliant all-round performance the Under 10's TORNADOES were rewarded with an away victory over Salford Storm Thunderbolts. In a hard fought game on target for Beechy were Jack Hoatson who due to an injury didn't play in the second half plus Man of the Match Luke Bennett and Kai Barker.

*Elijah Knott netted a consolation goal for the Under 12's STORM (9v9) who produced a hard working display in their game against Old Trafford Juniors. Despite their efforts unfortunately Beechy were on the wrong end of a 3-1 scoreline.

*Key players were missing when Beechy Under 13's TORNADOES met Signol Athletic at home on Saturday morning. Both teams had to deal with an energy sapping pitch and it was the visitors who won this competitive SDJFL Division 2 fixture 4-1. Radwan Fakeeh scored the Tornadoes consolation goal.

*In the Bolton Bury and District League the Under 16's TYPHOON players were involved in ten goal thriller with Breightmet Hawks. Making a positive start Typhoon opened the scoring when Cole Winstanley went on a solo run and beat the keeper in a one-on-one situation. Despite looking the better team Beechy conceded a soft equalising goal then Typhoon found themselves 2-1 down moments before half time. After Beechy heads went down a little Breightmet controlled the game and scored two more goals early in the second half. Thankfully the Beechy Boys produced a valid fightback and Reece James was on target when he made it 4-2 then a third goal for Typhoon arrived via a brilliant Sonny O'Brien free kick.

Beechy stepped up a gear but a hugely controversial penalty which was converted saw the Hawks regain their two goal advantage. On this occasion Typhoon kept their heads held high and the Boys came roaring back and Jamie Withington caught the eye with some excellent ball winning tackles. Continuing running at the Brieightmet defence Reece James caused the visitors real problems and Typhoon's Man of the Match added the finish to a sweeping when he made it 5-4. Following a brief period of solid defending Typhoon were rewarded with a late late equaliser thanks to Reece James who completed his hat-trick and the scoring.
