Beechy Under 15's Hurricanes were in Salford and Districts League action on Saturday 18th November 2023 when they travelled to play Hough End Griffins.

*Despite Rudolf, Dillian and Pedro missing from the squad Joshua Whitehead and Jamie Maher were available for this Division 1 fixture. On a 3/4g Astroturf Pitch the Hurricanes went close to taking an early lead after a pass from Henry Errington was controlled by Owen Hogben and he laid the ball off to Alfie Rostron who just couldn't get his shot on target. During a fast paced end to end first half both teams rarely threatened to score so at the break it was 0-0. A good save by the hosts keeper denied Henry the chance to open the scoring but eventually the Hurricanes did take the lead through Rafael Djacy who stole the ball from an Hough End defender and supplying a superb finish fired it over the keeper for 1-0. Hough End equalised when a pinpoint cross fell at a strikers feet and he saw his shot find the bottom corner of the net. What proved to be the match winning goal went to the hosts when on this occasion an Hough End player with an accurate strike sent the ball into the top corner of the net to secure his team a 2-1 victory and the three points.
