In the Timperley and District League Beechfield United Under 17's remained as leaders of the Youth Bundesliga Division on goal difference after their third successive victory a 5-2 home win over Lymm Rovers Pumas. Totally dominating the first half Beechy outplayed their opponents and were 5-0 up at the break. Lymm Rovers briefly produced a mini fightback in the second half and were rewarded with a couple of goals. United’s goals came via Patrick Dennison (hat trick) and Man of the Match Ryan Curran (2)

Also in the Timperley and District League the Under 16’s Predators hit double figures in their Division 1 home game against bottom of the table team Cheshire Phoenix. In this one-sided contest United led 7-0 at half time and scored another seven goals in the second period. George Davies (3) Brandon Kent (3) Robert Boardman (2) Jamie Pollitt (2) Liam Egerton, Joseph Lydiate, Mitchell McGivern and Man of the Match Jace Winspear got the goals for the Predators who hold a four-point lead at the top of the table.

Maintaining their impressive unbeaten run in the Bolton Bury and District League were the Under 16’s Tornadoes who stay top of the Section C table after a 4-1 victory against Bolton County Stormers. Holding a slender one goal lead at the break Beechy upped the tempo during the second half and eventually secured a comfortable win. Goalscorers for the Tornadoes were Keiran Alley, Mason White, Troy Walker and Kurtis Taylor.

At Bolton Road Playing Fields the Under 15’s Storm were involved in a ten goal thriller with De La Salle Devils that ended 5-5. In the Salford and District League Storm’s Man of the Match was Tom Hobson and on target with the goals were Tyler Davies (2) Aaron Gartley (2) and Nathan Green.

The Under 12’s Thunder (9v9) played their first home game of the season against Moston Tigers Black. Making a strong start Beechy quickly put pressure on their opponents who defended well but in the opening quarter-hour United missed numerous chances to take the lead. Eventually Thunder scored following a corner when the ball was headed goal wards by Prince Idusuyi and it deflected off Liam Cremins and into the net. Moston hit back and found an equaliser and though Beechy regained the lead via Jake Glass Moston Tigers were back level again before half time. The second half produced a similar pattern and Moston Tigers led for the first time before Jacob Lacey made it 3-3. With fifteen minutes remaining Moston Tigers stepped up a gear and while Beechy’s concentration levels were poor the visitors scored four goals without reply to claim a 7-3 victory.

Also playing at home were the Under 12’s Tornadoes (9v9) who’s latest Division 3 fixture was against Winton Wanderers who won the match 5-1. Patrick Walsh was Man of the Match and Brandon Wabayi scored a consolation goal for the Tornadoes who suffered their fourth successive defeat.

Celebrating their third win on the trot were the Under 11’s Tornadoes (9v9) who had a Sunday morning home game with Manchester Maccabi Scorpions. In the Development Group Yellow Division Man of the Match Adam Wood, Jack Fitton, Oliver Lomas, Bradley Oliver and Charlie Mulvenna scored the goals in a dominant Tornadoes performance.

Making a slow start in their Red Division fixture with Deans Sports were Beechy Under 11’s Storm (9v9) who were two goals down at half time. Despite an all-round improvement in the second half United conceded a third goal before Tawonga Chirwa reduced the arrears. More bad defending gifted Deans Sports a fourth goal but Ben Delaney who was Storm’s Best Player got a second goal for Beechy in the last minute.

Back to winning ways in the Bolton Bury and District League were the Under 10’s Hurricanes. At Beech Farm Beechy were in action in the Dragons Division against Tiki Taka Rangers and the Hurricanes sealed a comfortable win thanks to goals from Harley Mullen, Josh Clough, Tom Worthington, Ole Kerwin and Oliver Coles. Sharing the Man of the Match Award were Harley Mullen and Josh Clough.

There was a first win of the season for the Under 10’s Lightning following their match with Prestwich Junior Dragons. Man of the Match Kaden Atack, Charlie Harris, Sam Henderson and Demi Jones were on target in this Development Group Green Division fixture.

At home to De La Salle Rangers the Under 10’s Typhoon produced a poor first half display, but there was a vastly improved performance in the second half. The ever industrious Joseph Bothamley and Ronan Mullen were credited with great assists for Cole Winstanley and Man of the Match Daniel Hesketh to score two good goals.

Caden Gibson inspired a brilliant fightback by the Under 10’s Storm who were three goals down at half time away at AFC Salford Juniors. Caden who helped himself to a hat trick was named Man of the Match for the second week running. Keeper George Haywood made a world class save and both Josh McLoughlin and Freddie Jackson were outstanding in midfield.

Beechy Under 9’s Tornadoes faced Barr Hill Hearts in the Development Group Red Division and produced a much improved performance. All the lads played with a smile on their face in a game that was end to end. Goalscorers for the Tornadoes were Ellis O’Brien-Walsh and Edward Hughes.

Despite having home advantage, the Under 9’s Storm produced a below-par display against AFC Monton Dragons who won this Development Group Yellow fixture. Man of the Match Saul Tagoe netted a consolation goal for Beechy.

Involved in a high scoring game with AFC Monton Wolves were the Under 8’s Hurricanes who won for the first time this season. Lloyd Hiles, Lexi Hiles, Daniel Alexander and Man of the Match Joshua Whitehead scored the goals for the Hurricanes.

Thanks to a solid defensive performance, the Under 8’s Tornadoes tasted victory after their home game against Swinton Junior Pumas. Ethan Harris grabbed a hat trick and Harvey Riva and Mathew Cox also scored goals for the Tornadoes. Josh Jemmett and George Rowbotham shared the Man of the Match Award.

The Under 8’s Storm lost their Development Group Red Division away game at Salford United. Oliver Dalton-Bunker was voted the team’s Best Player while Beechy got a couple of goals via Kylan Twigg and Henry Jones.

Following a poor first half performance against De La Salle the Under 7’s Storm players showed better discipline and passed the ball with more accuracy in the second half. Man of the Match was Harry Whitter for his excellent attitude and impressive work rate.

There was a first ever goal for Man of the Match Dylan Courtney in the Under 7’s Tornadoes Development Group Yellow Division game with Majic Sports White Eagles. Also on target with another goal for Beechy was Alfie Lacey.
