On Saturday 5th October 2019 Beechfield United Reserves were on Footy.Com Saturday Amateur Cup duty when they travelled to play Deans FC First Team in a 1st Round tie and following a seven goal thriller United were guaranteed a place in the 2nd Round thanks to a 4-3 victory.

Continuing his goal scoring hot streak was leading marksman Callum Davies who netted twice plus also on target with a goal apiece were substitutes Deren Saunders and Ben Shiels. United's hero of the day was keeper Jason Rodgers who saved a last minute spot-kick to deny Deans the chance of forcing a penalty shoot-out.

Beechy team was: Jason Rodgers, Macauley Knight, George Switzer, Louis Lawrence, Byron Ward, David McCarthy, Danny Lee, Will Cosgrove, Keenan Switzer, Callum Davies, Zack Murray, Ben Shiels, Deren Saunders, Joel Busuttil.
