Beechfield United First Team have made a disappointing start to life in the Manchester Football League in season 2020/2021. After their opening four Premier Division fixtures despite some encouraging performances Beechy still await their first victory.

United kick-off the season at home to Dukinfield Town who went away from from Salford Sports Village with a 4-0 win. Seven days later Beechy had Ethan Birds and Jordan Jones-Waite on target when United lost 3-2 away at Springhead FC. On Saturday 3rd October Kyle Bennett and Thomas Maplesden got the goals in the home game with Heywood St James. At one stage in the game the score was 2-2 but at the final whistle it was the visitors who collected the three points via a 4-2 victory.
