Congratulations to three Beechfield United teams who were involved in relevant Manchester County FA Cup Competitions during the weekend of Saturday/Sunday 17th & 18th October 2015.

The SATURDAY MORNING SENIOR TEAM travelled to play Failsworth Dynamos in the Saturday Amateur Cup and secured a 4-3 win. After taking the lead United found themselves trailing 3-1 at half time and needing a second half recovery plan. Manager Paul Harrison switched to a 4-4-2 system and playing some first-class football Beechy took control and eventually booked their place in the 3rd Round. Max Leonard (3) and Chris Lucas scored the goals and Andy Lord was Man of the Match.

BEECHFIELD UNITED BLUE were in action at Salford Sports Village and producing a stylish display on the 3G Astroturf Pitch beat South Manchester Warriors 7-4. Mason Gilligan (2) Sam Houghton (2) Joe Davis, Jordan Smith and Steven McNally got the goals for Beechy in this Sunday Amateur Cup 1st Round tie.

At Beech Farm Playing Fields the UNDER 12's STORM (9v9) entertained Hough End Griffins and creating a dazzling display totally outplayed their opponents. Beechy who were 4-0 up at half time in this Youth Cup Round 1 fixture could easily have hit double figures but were happy to settle for a 7-1 victory. Harry Gartley was on target with four goals Bobby Anderson scored twice and George Moorhouse got the other. Miro Marshall was the teams Best Player.
