Beechfield United Senior Reserve Team were looking to extend their current unbeaten run to five games when they travelled to play Govan Athletic Reserves. Unfortunately United suffered a 3-2 defeat but they were highly praised by the referee after the game.

On the hosts artificial surface this Manchester Football League Division 5 fixture was a hard fought and entertaining contest. Callum Davies with his eleventh goal of the season and Ben Shiels had given United a 2-1 lead with ten minutes to go but Govan Athletic found two more goals to steal the three points. Man of the Match was Louis Lawrence. Beechy Team: Jason Rodgers, Byron Ward, Macauley Knight, Louis Lawrence, Zack Murray, Danny Lee, Keenan Switzer, William Cosgrove, Callum Davies, Ben Shiels, Joel Busuttil.
