Following their 4-3 home win over Aspull Junior Latics in the Bolton Bury and District League Beechfield United Under 16's Tornadoes went to the top of the Section B table. At Stott Lane Jeanny Le Blance gave the Tornadoes the lead within twenty seconds before the game calmed down and Aspull Juniors equalised around the twenty minute mark. Jeanny Le Blance was on target again when he put United back in front but the visitors made it 2-2 before the break. Looking more determined straight from the restart the Tornadoes regained the lead within five minutes thanks to a goal from Leighton White. Then due to a professional foul Beechy were reduced to ten players and Aspull Juniors quickly put the Tornadoes under pressure when they equalised. But Beechy responded and showing real grit and determination were rewarded when Jeanny le Blance netted the winning goal as he completed his hat-trick.

Thanks to a terrific all-round display the Under 14's Tornadoes were rewarded when they beat Bridge JFC Hawks 3-0 at Bolton Road Playing Fields. In this North Bury Junior League Division 2 home game goal scorers for the Tornadoes were Man of the Match Max Chidgey (2) and Andrew Woodward. There was a well deserved clean sheet for Tornadoes goalkeeper Ben Brown.

Also in action on Saturday morning in the North Bury Junior League were the Under 14's Thunder who were away to Barr Hill Hearts in the Championship Division. Thunder who lost the match 3-1 created lots of chances but struggled to covert them into goals. Jacob Lacey netted Beechy's consolation goal during the last five minutes.

In the Bolton Bury and District League there was a winning start to the season for the Under 13's Storm. Away at North Walkden Condors in Section C Beechy quickly dominated the contest and raced into a 2-0 lead with goals from Tawab Ogunleye and Rafael Ceita. Then Tawab Ogunleye was on target again to give the Storm a commanding three goal lead at half time. Beechy started well in the second half and increased their lead via a great goal by Tawonga Chirwa and the fifth goal soon arrived that earned Tawab Ogunleye his hat trick before North Walkden got their consolation goal. Further goals from Tawonga Chirwa and Sam Walton put the seal on this first class 7-1 Beechy victory.

There was a disappointing start to the season in the Salford and Districts League for Beechy Under 13's Tornadoes. Playing away to Fletcher Moss Blue in Division 2 the Tornadoes went home empty handed after suffering a 4-0 defeat. Goal keeper Lewis Wallis collected the Man of the Match award.

Away against AFC Salford Juniors the Under 12's Storm (9v9) played their part in a close fought game. In Division 1 Storm showed great character coming back from 2-0 down to level shortly after half time thanks to goals by Josh McLoughlin and Reece James who drilled in a Sonny O'Brien cut back from the edge of the area. But Beechy lost to a well worked winning Salford Juniors goal ten minutes from time. Alfie Gee was named the Storm's Best Player.

A spirited display by the Under 12's Typhoon (9v9) just wasn't enough in their Division 2 home game with neighbours Moorside Rangers Blue. Voted Typhoon's Man of the Match was Daniel Hesketh and on target with consolation goals for Beechy who lost 6-2 were Cole Winstanley and Freddie Latham.

Moving up from mini-soccer to 9v9 football were the Under 11's Tornadoes who now play their home games at Salford Sports Village and Beechy went goal crazy against AFC Monton Dragons. Finley Fairhurst led the list of goal scorers in this blue group game scoring five times, Oliver Percival and Sam Rowbottom got two goals each plus there was a goal apiece for Owen Hogben, Michael Walsh, Joel Thorndyke and Man of the Match Charlie Chute.

Kicking-off the season in the Green Group were the Under 11's Storm who's opponents for this 9v9 fixture were Winton Wanderers Raptors. Beechy's Best Player was Edward Lucas and sharing the Storm's tally of nine goals were Oliver Cowley, Noah O'Connor, Damian Darbyshire, Cobey Cleary, Thomas Hawkins, Andrew AcKernley and James Cadwaladr.

Playing their first official 9v9 game in the Salford and Districts League were the Under 11's Hurricanes. Goals by Ethan Mangwiro and Rian Haines were scant reward in the teams Green Group away game against Barr Hill Clubs.

At home to Urmston Town Eagles the Under 10's Hurricanes made a flying start to their season in the Yellow Group. Playing at Beech Farm the Hurricanes hit goals through Man of the Match Alfie Rostron, Henry Errington, Joshua Whitehead and Amaan Khan. The other squad players were: Fabio Figueiredo, Jamie Maher, Dillan Caldwell, Daniel Robinson, Oliver Dalton-Bunker, Oliver Williams and Oliver Hall.

In a game of two halves the Under 10's Tornadoes held a three goal lead at the break against Stretford Victoria Panthers, thanks to Charlie Backhouse, Ethan Harris and Ebosele Oguname. In the second half of this home Blue Group fixture the Tornadoes added a fourth goal courtesy of Oliver Nangle before Stretford Victoria mounted a comeback. United's opponents scored three goals forcing Beechy into a backs to the wall job but the Tornadoes survived to claim the victory. Man of the Match went to Tom Robinson.

Making a superb start to their season were the Under 9's Tornadoes who were in action at home to Stretford Victoria in the Green Group. A fantastic all-round performance earned the Beechy boys a thoroughly deserved victory but they should have scored more goals than the result written on the match card. New goal keeper Jack Lee only needed to make a few saves due to some superb defending from Dylan Courtney who was voted Man of the Match. Stewart Kay, Bailey Breeze and Josh Beddows got the goals.

United's Under 9's Lightning entertained Monton Sports at Beech Farm and lost this Yellow Group match by the odd goal in five. Every player gave a brilliant performance but winning the Man of the Match honour was Isaac Moore. Stand-in keeper Charlie Swift had a very good game while goals for Lightning came via Broadie Mundy and Jeano Baker. Full squad for the game was: Jeano Baker, Oliver Eckersley, Peter James, Karrell Thomas, Oscar Mather, Isaac Moore, Broadie Mundy, Kaylon Salisbury, Charlie Swift, Kyle Tandy.

Beechfield United Under 8's Storm were at home for their first Salford and Districts League match of the 2018/2019 season. In the Blue Group Beechy met AFC Monton and came out on top thanks to a comfortable victory. The teams Star Player was Nathan Kay and on target with the goals were Harry Wallis (Hat-Trick) and Bobby Harrison.
