There was another busy Saturday morning within the Junior Section with just one Sunday fixture involving Beechy Under 12's Tornadoes.

Celebrating their first win of the season were Beechy Under 14's Storm who were at home to Winton Wanderers. In this Bolton Bury and District League Section E fixture Michael Walsh opened the scoring after some good work from Anthony Ackernley and Joshua Kilfoyle. Storm went 2-0 up via another goal by Michael Walsh but Winton Wanderers kept working hard and pulled a goal back before Andrew Ackernley got the first of his four goals on the stroke of half time. Winton made a confident start following the break when they scored again but Beechy remained in control and Rian Haines netted a second half hat-trick. Storm finished 9-4 winners with Thomas Hawkins receiving the Man of the Match award.

Beechfield United Under 16's Storm who were at home to North Walkden needed to bounce back following last Saturday's defeat. In this Section C match in the BBDFL Beechy took an early lead through Harry Patterson but North Walkden responded and were soon back on level terms. Following a defensive mistake Harry Patterson put Storm 2-1 up and Beechy's Man of the Match quickly netted his hat-trick goal before the visitors reduced the arrears just before half time after some slack Beechy defending. Once Storm had sorted out their defensive issues they started to control the game and scoring with a screamer was Ben Delaney who made it 4-2. Briefly North Walkden were back in the contest with their third goal but Storm remained on top and were guaranteed the victory when Harry Patterson completed his five goal tally. Special mention for Alfie Jones who produced a top-class performance. Result Beechy 6 v North Walkden 3.

The Under 15's in-house derby between Beechy's Lightning and Typhoon teams ended with a 6-4 win for Typhoon. Honours were even at 2-2 following a scrappy first half with Jamie Withington on target with both Typhoon goals. The second half was much more entertaining and Typhoon went 3-2 up via Will Bentham before Lightning hit two goals to go ahead. Ryan O'Sullivan netted Typhoon's equaliser and a couple of late goals from Reece James and Ryan O'Sullivan secured Typhoon the win. George Young, Cody Brady and Cherif Badjie (2) got the goals in a satisfactory display by Lightning. Ryan Law was Typhoon's Man of the Match.

Away at Bolton Lads Club the Under 14's Hurricanes asserted themselves early as they settled into a good rhythm. Despite being hit by a sucker punch the Hurricanes kept playing their normal way and a quickly taken throw-in from Dylan Walker to Kane Wood resulted in the latter chipping the ball over the keeper for 1-1. After a goal kick by Hurricanes keeper Alfie Gridlestone the ball was controlled by Dylan Walker who raced clear and gave Beechy the lead. Some poor defending by the Hurricanes gifted Bolton Lads an equaliser but Kane Wood with another delightful chip over the keeper restored the lead. Thanks to some resolute defending and a wonder save from Alfie Gridlestone Beechy were guaranteed a 3-2 victory and the three points. Overall this was an impressive team performance and making their full debuts for the Hurricanes were Ausou Eltomseneen and Bradley West who looked right at home in the team. Man of the Match was a difficult choice but it was decided that Bradley West and Nicholas Britto-Walmsley would share the award.

Key players Thomas Robinson and Owen Hogben were absent when the Under 13's Hurricanes lined-up for their Section A away game versus Bolton Lads Club. After making a positive start Beechy lost Fabio Figueiredo due to a shoulder injury but the Hurricanes lads put on a great performance in the first half which ended with Bolton Lads holding a 2-1 lead. It proved to be a hard slog for Beechy in the second half against a strong Bolton Lads outfit and the hosts added two more goals. The Hurricanes tried to get back into the game but tiredness was a major factor and they definately missed those key player. Henry Errington scored Beechy's consolation goal and voted Man of the Match for an outstanding defensive performance was Sophiyulah Bakare.

Playing on Sunday were the Under 12's Tornadoes (9v9) who were in action against Manchester Maccabi Tigers at Salford Sports Village. Beechy dominated this Division 2 contest and hit double figures thanks to goals from Stewart Kay, Man of the Match Martin Cholakov, Finn Browne and Josh Beddows.

Maintaining a winning start to the season were the Under 10's Storm. Away to Deans Sports once again Beechy started on the front foot as they created some exciting quick passing football. Aiden Gradwell was instrumental in attack while goalkeeper Sophie Price gave a soilid all-round display throughout the game. In the second period new signings Lucas Bond and Kristian Georgiev put in eye catching performances as Deans Sports struggled with the speed of Beechy's play. Goal of the match came late on when Kristian and Aiden combined a a terrfic shot by the latter flew into the net off the crossbar.

At Beech Farm the Under 9's Tornadoes entertained AFC Burnden Park Wolves. The weather was ideal for football and though the Tornadoes only had six players the Burnden Park Manager decided to play with a full team for this 7v7 fixture. The Beechy boys were unbelievable as they dominated the game from start to finish and taking full advantage of a healthy lead Tornadoes Boss Ryan Pugh switched the players around during the second half.

A highy confident Beechy Under 9's Hurricanes had to deal with a difficult pitch in their away game against AFC Monton Diablos. The hosts raced into a commanding lead and the Beechy boys did well to stay in the game as they created a spirited display. Goals for the Hurricanes came via Mason McHugh-Davies who was making his debut, Kenny Copeland plus an own goal and six fantastic saves by the Monton keeper denied Beechy further goals. Lewis Adams produced a performance full of energy and confidence while Finn Lee playing in his second game outfield worked hard and was unlucky not score his first goal for the club.

Salford Storm were the Under 8's Storm's opponents as Beechy played their second game of the season in the Salford and Districts League. Man of the Match after a great captain's performance was Scott Smith while ace marksman Jack Sinclair fired home Beechy's consolation goal.

A brilliant all-round display from the Under 7's Storm paved the way towards a thrilling Beechy victory and making a great start Storm took a deserved lead and let their opponents add an extra player. Every Beechy player had a great game and named Man of the Match was Carson Rowlands while the smiles on the players faces told the whole story.
