Beechfield United's Junior Section teams kicked-off the 2022/2023 season on 17/9/2022 and there were impressive displays in both the Salford & Districts League and Bolton Bury & District League.

*Both Beechy's newly formed Mini-Soccer teams the Under 7's Thunder and Under 8's Thunder produced superb performances in their first ever competitive games. At home the Under 7's Thunder controlled the first half of their match with Urmston Town Leopards and put their opponents under constant pressure. Beechy created some great build up play and following a few missed goalscoring opportunities Thunder shared four goals at half time. Urmston Town came out strong in the second half scoring a couple of quick goals but Beechy immediately took the initiative and after waves of attacks secured a fully deserved victory. On target for Thunder were Harrison Spencer with four goals, Chase Sixsmith who scored two goals plus an own goal.

*In their away game with Flixton Kestrels the Under Under 8's Thunder made a bright start and quickly opened up a two goal lead via Kade Doyle then Beechy increased their lead when Brayden Taylor worked hard to win the ball back. After making a few changes Flixton came back into the game and took the lead before Thunder equalised when Brayden Taylor was on target with his second goal. Flixton responed and regained the lead but with a well taken goal Harley Cosgrove-Newby got Beechy back on level terms. With a couple of minutes left Noah Aspen scored a thunderbolt free kick and the Beechy boys soaked up the late pressure and secured the win.

*Beechy Under 8's Storm found themselves two goals down at half time in their away game at Swinton Warriors but Storm bounced back in fine style and thanks to four goals in the last ten minutes victory was achieved. In a great all-round performance goalscorers for Beechy were Man of the Match Seth Barber and Oscar Pugh.

*The Under 9's in-house derby between Beechy Storm and Tornadoes ended with a narrow victory for Storm. Following a well respected minutes silence for Queen Elizabeth the match kicked off and after a great passing move Harry Wharton lobbed the ball over the keeper to give Storm the lead. Working hard to get back into the game Tornadoes were rewarded when Kobe Glass took advantage of some slack defending and equalised. In the second half both teams continued to work hard to win the midfield battle and chances were few and far between. The Tornadoes grabbed the lead via Kobe Glass who picked up the ball near the halfway line and after displaying great skill added a lovely finish into the bottom corner of the net. Storm responded and piling on the pressure got back level when Max Schofield from midfield ran at the Tornadoes defence and equalised with a powerful finish. Storm's winning goal arrived when Max Schofield went on another run from the halfway line and split the defence before producing a cool finish. Barkley Pope was named Tornadoes Man of the Match.

*At Beechy Farm Playing Fields the Under 10's Tornadoes were in action against AFC Monton and thanks to a quality performance made a winning start to the new season. Voted Tornadoes Man of the Match was Kai Barker.

*The Under 10's Hurricanes were also at home but they faced a tough opening day fixture when they met Salford Storm and despite a gutsy display Beechy lost the game.

*Another Beechy team making a winning start were the Under 11's Hurricanes (9v9) who were away to Deans Sports in the Yellow Group. Beechy took the lead when Maddox Taylor opened the scoring after taking advantage of a loose kick from the Deans keeper and soon after Kristian Georgiev gave Thunder a two goal lead with a fine finish that gave the keeper no chance. Deans got a goal back just before half time then following a fine run past a couple of defenders followed by a neat finish Ajab Fakkeeh restored Beechy two goal advantage. Mohammed Edris scored Thunder's fourth goal when he controlled the ball on the edge of the area and fired it high into the net. The hosts added their second goal shortly after but Beechy maintained control and celebrated their success after the final whistle.

*After producing a fantastic all-round performance the Under 12's Storm (9v9) were rewarded with a 6-4 victory over Old Trafford Juniors. In this Division 1 home game Beechy who were 4-3 up at half time held the lead throughout the match. Storm's Man of the Match was Connor O'Sullivan and on target with goals for Beechy were Roman Sandjai (3) Eiman Sandjai (2) and Alfie Parker.

*For their first official 11-a-Side fixture in the Salford and Districts League Beechy Under 13's Tornadoes travelled to play Kingsway Athletic North. Despite a very composed performance the Tornadoes couldn't take their chances and lost 2-0 after Kingsway took advantages of Beechy errors.

*Beechy Under 16's Typhoon started brightly in their Bolton Bury and District League Section D away game against Moorside Rangers Blue and were devastated to go 2-0 down. But to their credit the Beechy Boys didn't let their heads go down and got back level after two goals from Man of the Match Reece James who was inches away from a hat-trick early in the second half. A great save by Typhoon's keeper Peter Ellis kept it all square as the match suddenly swung rapidly from end to end but Beechy went behind following a lack of communication in defence. After more positive play Typhoon equalised when Ryan O'Sullivan pounced after the Rangers keeper failed to deal with a Sonny O'Brien free kick then with time running out Ronan Mullen netted Typhoon's fourth and match winning goal which was met with huge celebrations at the final whistle.
