In the Bolton Bury and District League Beechfield United Under 16's Tornadoes made it a hat trick of wins in Section B and went three points clear at the top of the table. The Tornadoes were away to Barr Hill and beat their previously unbeaten opponents thanks to a 3-2 victory but Beechy made a poor start to the match and due to some sloppy defending went a goal down after about fifteen minutes. Maintaining cool heads and sticking to their game plan United were rewarded when Jeanny Le Blance easily went past a Barr Hill defender and fired the ball beyond the keeper for 1-1. Soon after the Tornadoes took the lead following a corner when Dillon Barnes scored with a header. Beechy began the second half controlling the match and were awarded a penalty for handball but the Barr Hill keeper saved the spot-kick. The missed penalty was soon forgotten when Ademola Olusanya was on target with the third goal and though Barr Hill scored again from the penalty spot the Tornadoes remained well organised and were able to secure the victory. Beechy's Man of the Match was Leighton White.

Daisy Hill Diamonds were the Under 15's Tornadoes opponents in the Players Cup and in this action packed 1st Round tie the teams were level 3-3 after eighty minutes and 4-4 at the end of extra time. Goal scorers for Beechy before the teams faced a penalty kick decider which they lost 4-2 were Man of the Match Mathew Bennett (2) Fernley Davies and Charlie Wallwork.

There was a winning start to their season in the Salford and Districts League for the Under 14's Storm who beat Stretford Victoria 9-1. In this Division 1 away game Beechy who could easily have hit double figures had six different goal scorers. On target were Ben Garlick (4) Adam Rothwell, Leo Hancock, Luke Carr, Charlie Molloy and Finley Share. The Star Player award went to Ishor Bajgai.

Securing their first win of the season were the Under 14's Thunder. The Under 14's Tornadoes who also play in the North Bury Junior League were involved in the Main Cup. At Duchy Road United met Littleborough Junior Stripes and made an early exit from the competition following a 2-0 defeat. In a very close contest the Beechy boys were unable to capitalise on some great chances. Man of the Match was Ethan Pritchard who displayed terrific energy and commitment.

For their fist home match of the season the Under 13's Storm played a very good Westbury Hawks team. This Bolton Bury and District League Section C game was evenly balanced until the Hawks took the lead when the ball was chipped over the keeper for the opening goal. Beechy then had a few chances to equalise but Westbury Hawks added two more goals before half time and dominating the second half scored another four goals. David Bondy received the Man of the Match award and despite the disappointing 7-0 final result the Storm played well at times.

Playing away against local rivals Moorside Rangers Yellow were the Under 13's Tornadoes and Beechy were on the wrong end of a 7-2 score line. The teams met at Beech Farm for this Salford and Districts League Division 2 fixture and on target with goals for the Tornadoes were Justin Suele and Bradley Oliver.

After making a promising start to their Division 2 home game with Winton Junior Yellows the Under 12's Typhoon (9v9) stumbled to a disappointing 4-0 defeat. Cole Winstanley who was Man of the Match produced numerous crosses that created lots of chances but the Beechy boys couldn't add the finishing touch.

Kicking off the season in Division 3 were the Under 12's Lightning who's Saturday morning fixture was away to Boothstown Clarets. Man of the Match Daniel Williams scored both goals for Beechy who suffered a 5-2 defeat.

Following a below-par display the Under 12's Storm (9v9) were beaten 7-1 by AFC Salford Juniors. In Division 1 the Storm started slowly and conceded an early goal but Beechy drew level when Harry Backhouse scored after a poor clearance by the visitors keeper. Salford Juniors then took control and punished a combination of poor defending and goalkeeping errors. Josh McLoughlin was the Storm's Best Player.

For the second time in seven days United's Under 11's Storm (9v9) scored nine goals and at home to Winton Wanderers in the Green Group an in-form Beechy turned on the style. The goals came via Oliver Cowley who got his second successive hat trick Cobey Cleary, James Cadwaladr, Joshua Kilfoyle and Man of the Match Saul Tagoe who completed the scoring.

Action in the Blue Group involved the Under 11's Tornadoes (9v9) who's away game was against Swinton Junior Panthers. The home team took the lead against the run of play and though Beechy continued to play the better football they found themselves chasing a three goal deficit but Finley Fairhurst reduced the arrears with a deflected shot before half time. A similar pattern developed in the second half with the Tornadoes producing more top quality soccer with the passing and movement off the ball of the highest quality. Lucas Walker got the second goal when his effort found the bottom corner of the net and Finlay Fairhurst from the penalty spot was on target again for the Tornadoes in a close and very exciting game. The Man of the Match award went to Edward Hughes.

In action on Sunday morning in the Green Group were the Under 11's Hurricanes (9v9) who had a home game with Manchester Maccabi Warriors. Unfortunately the Hurricanes lost the match but scored two goals through Alfie Gridlestone and Harrison Tinald. Receiving the Star Player award was Etham Mangwiro.

Making it two wins on the trot plus another clean sheet were the Under 10's Hurricanes. In the Yellow Group Beechy had Oliver Williams and Alfie Rostron as their goal scorers in a comfortable victory. The teams Star Player was Fabio Figueiredo.

Also securing a second successive victory were the Under 10's Tornadoes who produced a fantastic performance away versus Barr Hill Diamonds. Throughout this match in the Blue Group the Tornadoes created moments of excellent passing of the ball. Man of the Match Charlie Backhouse, Oliver Nangle, Ebosele Oguname got the goals.

Beechy's new team the Under 10's Lightning who's Manager is Chris White are slowly adapting to life in the Salford and Districts League. Their first match of the season was on Sunday 16th September when Beechy met Parkwyddn Phoenix. A consolation goal for Lightning came courtesy of Jai Devani-White and Player of the Match was the teams female player Amelia Bravender. Full squad for the game was: Jai Devani-White, Matthew Elliott, Sean Cosgrove, Alfie Latham, Presley Smith, Amelia Bravender, Charlie Green, Charlie Bell and Tyler Candland. There was a much improved performance on Saturday when Lightning travelled to play Abraham Moss. On a 4G Astroturf Pitch the match was played in great spirit and could have ended in a win for Beechy had the Abraham Moss keeper not produced an outstanding display. All the Beechy players involved were a credit to the club.

Faced with an early kick-off were the Under 9's Tornadoes when they played FC Bridgewater away in the Green Group. Beechy endured a tough game against a very good team but responded well after twice going behind thanks to goals from Josh Beddows and Stewart Kay. The Tornadoes worked hard to ty and get an equaliser but FC Bridgewater scored two late goals to guarantee themselves the victory. Following a terrific display George Wadeson was named Man of the Match.

Once again the Under 9's Lightning were without their goalkeeper Brandon Booth for the Yellow Group away fixture with neighbours Moorside Rangers Blue. Charlie Swift netted a consolation goal for Lightning who played well and were unlucky not to get more from the game. Voted Best Player was Oliver Eckersley.

An impressive all-round performance guaranteed the Under 8's Storm victory over De La Salle. Man of the Match Harry Wallis (hat-trick) Connor O'Sullivan and Kinsley Walters fired home the goals plus there was an excellent performance from goalkeeper Reuben Wardle.
