Despite setting up the pitch twice and having no time to warm up properly the boys started like a train, blowing away the opposition in the first 10 mins. Our first goal came after some great work out wide by Barkley who found Ismail on the edge of the box, he beat his man and slotted home. Ismail's second wasn’t too far behind he beat 2 players on the edge of the box and drilled it home. The boys kept pushing and Ismail had his hat-trick in side 7/8 mins, another lovely finish. It was all one way the opposition unable to get out of their own half and after Max had drilled home a lovely finish and Harvey scored with a deft touch from a corner with only 15 mins gone we allowed the opposition to put on a 10th player.
That extra player made little difference to the run of play and Beechy added a further four before half time, the first a great finish from Denholm out on the last cut inside and bent one into the bottom corner. Ismail added his 4th after more good work from Barkley down the right, cutting back and a lovely finish. Ismail then played a nice 1-2 with Austin on the edge of the box for his 5th and to finish the scoring before half time, Max again produced a powerful run and tucked it away into the bottom corner.
The second half was much the same but because it was so one sided the boys started to mess about a bit and conceded 3 silly goals, one being an own goal. At the other end Jack scored with an audacious lob and added another with a well taken finish just inside the box, Max finished off the scoring with a great finish from all of 20 yards.
A mismatch of a game but you can only beat what’s in front of you.
Man of the Match was Ismail with 5 goals and a domination in midfield
