In atrocious conditions that included Gale Force Winds and Continuous Heavy Rain Beechy Open Age Storm fought out a 1-1 draw TRA FC.

In this Manchester Saturday Morning League Division 2 encounter both teams contributed to a hard fough contest and making a good start TRA FC forced some solid and vital defending without creating a lot of chances. HT 0-0. Storm who were kicking against the wind in the second half went 1-0 down but gradually Beechy played some very good attacking football and equalised. During an attack that developed on the left flank Luca Komm was fouled in the area and the referee immediately awarded Storm a penalty and from the spot-kick Joe Northall confidently made it 1-1. In this battling performance Beechy keeper Aaron Brock had a very good game but the referee's Player of the Match was Max O'Brien.
