Moorside Rangers Green 5-2 Typhoon

2017 kicked off with a friendly at our training ground. Typhoon looked somewhat rusty and came away losing. The team were a little hesitant and had certainly lost some fitness. Having said that there was still some good stuff on offer. Jamie got back on the scoring rails with a brace, Peter made a few good saves and everyone competed. Joseph was his usual, reliable self getting stuck in and covering all the pitch. He was also the main instigator of our passing play and was well worth his man of the match award.
There's lots to work on, especially dealing with opposition's star players but that's what friendlies are for.
